With the demand for quality enterprise technology solutions, the professionals needed to manage them are experiencing greener pastures. The number of opportunities for those with the right skills are growing and employee attitudes show why.
A recent article from Baseline Magazine recapped a new study that found IT professionals are walking around with a new found confidence level.
"Technology employees are more confident about their career prospects than they've been in nearly a decade," the article reads. "They feel good about the overall economy, as well as placement opportunities with other potential companies. At the same time, they remain optimistic about their own job security and the future of their employers."
This idea comes from the latest Randstad IT Employee Confidence Index score. This study started in 2005 and the score of 60.4 that is being reported in the latest incarnation is the highest it has ever recorded.
On top of that, 52 percent of respondents said that would be able to find a new opportunity if they wanted to, which is up from 47 percent last year. Seventy-seven percent also believe their current role is secure.
Even with this growing confidence, many businesses are still reporting to struggles when it comes to finding a specific skill set in the IT channel. This is why many VARs and MSPs have become valuable resources. Quality solution providers partner with VAR Staffing to identify and recruit the impactful talent required to deliver today's cutting edge solutions.
